New inquiry from your client just dropped

New clients are looking for you, they just don’t know where to find you.

Hi y’all,

You know that DIY bride who has her whole Pinterest board mapped out but no clue where to actually rent those gold chiavari chairs? Or that corporate client flying in from out of town who needs a local vendor?

They’re out there right now, searching, so the question is: can they find you?

That’s where Goodshuffle’s Marketplace comes in. We relaunched it with image search that’s becoming an incredibly powerful tool. Folks can not only search for a multitude of vendors in a local area, but also search for vendors based on an image!

Customers can literally drag and drop their inspiration photo into the search bar, and our AI searches the Goodshuffle Marketplace for all the elements in the image. Then it returns products from the photo: linens, tables, chairs, the backdrop. And then it finds the event companies using Goodshuffle Pro who have all those things listed.

You can try the first version out for yourself here — we’ll continue to refine it, so if you have any feedback, we’re all ears!

One thing I’m excited about with Marketplace is it allows you to reach those out-of-towners and DIYers who wouldn’t have found you otherwise.

So how do you show up when they search?

The first step is to be a Goodshuffle Pro user, since those are the only folks who can choose to display their inventory in Marketplace.

I’ve got a couple other hot tips to help with your online visibility, not just in Marketplace, but also for traditional search engines and AI search:

1. Your photos need to be yours, not stock images. If you’ve got white folding chairs, so does everyone else in town. But do your photos show how well they are cared for by your team compared to your competitors? There’s a gap you can fill.

2. Think about how customers actually search. They’re not looking for “60-inch round polyester navy linens.” They’re searching for “elegant navy wedding linens” or “Luau backyard party.” The more you describe your items the way customers think about them, the better you’ll show up in their searches.

Your inventory is already there. Now make sure new customers can find it!

See you next Monday,
