If your business tools only work for half your team, do they really work?
Hi y’all,
When I talk about inclusive technology, I mean are you choosing tools and technology for your business that everyone can use? Not just you or your office staff.
In the event rental space, that’s a lot of different people. We’re a multi-generational industry. 22-year-old warehouse crew members work alongside 60-year-old owner-operators who also manage a team of 30 and 40-something salespeople.
That’s a LOT of different comfort levels with tech, tendencies on how to work within a system, varying speeds on the keyboard. In some cases, even different languages. So, do you have a software that supports the needs of everyone on the team: not just functionally, but intuitively and adaptively?
As we’ve built Goodshuffle Pro, user-friendliness has always been at the forefront of the product we’re building. We know that we can always scale the functionality of our software; but a poorly designed product is hard to change.
And it’s why we continue to refine how easily teams can access the information they need most (Saved Views just launched), have strengthened inventory management capabilities for your crew without needing to purchase a new device (Advanced Inventory), and recently launched the entire platform — help articles included — in Spanish and French.
We want you and your crew to look forward to logging into Goodshuffle Pro. That’s why we built it for fewer clicks, faster load times, and a flow that just makes sense. So you can get in, get it done, and get back to thinking big picture.
Here’s what I look for in any great software:
- Get your hands on the real product. Beware the beautiful product screenshot. A lot of software looks nothing like it’s marketed, and you won’t find that out until you’re already locked in. At our ARA booth, we’ll have laptops & phones out, so you can see Goodshuffle Pro in action. When you first try out any software, ask yourself: does this make me feel organized, or does it make me feel like “oh no, what am I looking at?”
- Pay attention to navigation. Every click you hesitate on is time you’re losing. Five thousand clicks a day adds up fast. The software should feel intuitive: menus where you’d expect them, information that’s easy to sort and filter.
- Make sure you like who you’re working with. You’ll stub your toe on something eventually. That’s not a knock on any software; it’s just reality. When you do, is help available? Our team of top-rated Customer Service reps are there for you, and they even trained Fin, our AI support agent, to be available around the clock (fun fact – it’s effectiveness score is as high as our human agents!). Because Goodshuffle Pro is so intentionally designed, we can afford to provide free support at EVERY stage of your journey with us (which kinda makes you wonder why some companies need to charge thousands, no?).
For anyone still on the fence: if your current system can’t support you AND your crew, busy season is going to show you that pretty quickly. Clients are expecting faster, smoother service than ever, and the businesses that have the right tools in place are going to feel that difference. How many more busy seasons are you going to give to software that wasn’t built for your whole team?
We’re running a pre-ARA special right now. Book your demo today to get in on it. 👇
See you next Monday,
